Miss Colette brings a lifetime of music and a heart for service to every student she teaches. With 43 years immersed in music and 20 years of formal teaching, she combines deep experience, patient guidance, and a joyful love of song and instrument. As a former charter flute & piccolo player with the California Youth Symphony, her performance background is rich and varied — she has toured and shared music across communities, inspiring young musicians by example.

A devoted Christian, Miss Colette views music as a gift from God and a way to glorify Him. Her lessons emphasize not only technical growth and musicality but also character: kindness, perseverance, and stewardship of talent. Whether guiding beginners through their first scales or coaching advanced students for performance, she meets each pupil with warmth, encouragement, and high standards.
